The Department of Home Affairs has announced that 3 new occupations will be added to the SOL from 1 July 2014. Chefs, Bricklayers, and Tilers will now be eligible for independent migration to Australia under the SkillSelect visa program including subclass 189, 190 and 489 visas. No occupations will be dropped from the list.
