Tina Nematian joins nearly 6,200 global workforce mobility professionals in 70 countries who have earned this distinctive professional designation.

The GSM designation requires candidates to successfully complete three modules and training programs, as well as pass a comprehensive examination.
The three broad areas a candidate is assessed on are:
- Applied International Assignment Policy Development
- Policy Alternatives, Strategies and Tactics for Global Workforce Mobility
- The Intercultural Challenge: Supporting Successful International Assignments.
Tina completed training in developing and administering international assignment policies, managing various types of cross‐border assignments, coordinating legal and tax compliance processes, and supporting successful international assignments. This training is presented in the context of regionally relevant mobility case studies and current research on demographics, HR and business trends.
A framework for Global Mobility Professionals
The GMS® program “provides a framework for Worldwide ERC® to lead the discussion of critical issues facing global mobility professionals today – such as ensuring a good return on human capital investments, retaining critical talent, building a global mindset, and providing excellent duty of care in even the most difficult environments.”
The GMS® is valid for a three‐year period, during which designees must complete continuing education credits in order to retain it for another three‐year cycle.
